2. How We Use Your Information

To generate a price quote and schedule your device pickup.
To verify your identity and ownership of the device before purchase.
To process payment via UPI or cash and maintain transaction records.
To communicate with you about your quote, pickup, or after-sale queries.
To improve our pricing accuracy and website experience.
To comply with applicable tax, consumer protection and anti-theft/anti-fraud regulations.

3. Device Data Removal

Before a device is refurbished or resold, Paycify performs a certified factory reset and data-erasure process to remove personal data such as photos, messages, accounts and files. We recommend you back up and remove your own data, sign out of cloud accounts, and disable device-lock features (such as Find My iPhone or Google Find My Device) before our technician arrives, as devices with active locks cannot be purchased.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

Our pickup technicians, solely to complete verification and payment.
Payment processors, to complete UPI transactions.
Government authorities, where required by law, for example to verify a device is not reported stolen.
Service providers who help us operate our website and support systems, under confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain transaction and identity-verification records for as long as required under applicable Indian tax and consumer-protection law, and delete or anonymise other personal data once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to remember your quote progress and understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly as a result.

7. Your Rights
